Dr. Bora Agabigum is an otolaryngologist, neurotologist, and skull base surgeon at the Michigan Ear Institute. His practice encompasses medical and surgical treatment for chronic ear disease, hearing loss, vestibular disorders, and skull base tumors in patients of all ages.

He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan. He then went on to earn his medical degree and residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck surgery at Wayne State University. Dr. Agabigum completed his fellowship training in Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base surgery at the Michigan Ear Institute.

Dr. Agabigum has prior work in basic science research for hearing preservation and is actively involved in clinical research with peer-reviewed publications focused on hearing loss, cochlear implants, and skull base tumors. His work has been presented at national conferences including the North American Skull Base Society, and Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meeting. He is a member of the American Neurotology Society and Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Agabigum enjoys playing and listening to classical music.
